Highlight

  • Hitachi Seaside Park is a national park surrounded by flowers and greenery. The large park, covering an area of approximately 215 hectares, is divided into seven areas, with leisure spots and flower fields where you can enjoy nature. In spring, there are daffodils, tulips, and nemophila. In autumn, there are kochia and cosmos, and other seasonal flowers that delight the eyes of visitors.
  • Ashikaga Flower Park is the only Japanese park to be selected as one of CNN's "Dream Travel Destinations in the World." The large wisteria and white wisteria tunnels are stunningly beautiful, and the enchanting scent of flowers fills the park. It is designated as a natural monument of Tochigi Prefecture (April to May). In winter, the park is illuminated with approximately 5 million lights, creating a spectacular display. In 2011, it was recognized as one of Japan's three major illuminations (October to February).
  • Enjoy a delicious Japanese bento lunch in the park, beautifully presented with a bottle of water included. Vegetarian options available.*Lunch boxes are not included in the Tanbara Lavender Plan (July to August).
  • This parking area recreates the streets of Edo, the setting of the novel Onihei Hankacho. You can enjoy gourmet food unique to Onihei Edodokoro, including restaurants that appear in the novel. Inside the building, there is a shopping zone that recreates the rows of food stalls at Ryogoku Hirokoji, the busiest street in Edo, where you can enjoy the atmospheric world of Edo, as if you had traveled back in time.
  • From July to August, we'll be heading to Tanbara Lavender Park. This is a limited-time flower park where approximately 50,000 lavender plants bloom, making it one of the largest in the Kanto region. The park is located at an altitude of 1,300m, and with an average high temperature of 25°C from July to August, it is more than 5°C cooler than the Tokyo metropolitan area, making it one of Gunma's top summer escape spots. The park is bustling with visitors, many of whom come to enjoy the soothing scent of lavender and the coolness.
