Ice Crusher "Garinkogo " is specially designed for sightseeing. With a total weight of 150 tons, it can accommodate maximum 195 people. Air-conditioning, heating, vending machines etc. are equipped on board, providing a comfortable sail experience.
Local Japanese travelers may join the tour together.
Return location cannot be changed.
This tour is operated on the basis of Japanese tourist industry regulation.
Joining this tour on your last day in Hokkaido is not recommended. As there is a possibility of traffic congestion or other delay during the tour. In this case, no compensation will be made.
There is a possibility that arrival is delayed due to traffic conditions. When meeting with adverse weather or other uncontrollable factors, the tour may be changed or delayed. In this case, if there is cancelation on the departure day, no refund will be made. Please kindly be noted.
3-12 years old will be regarded as children price. For kids under 2 years old to join this tour, please make the booking through phone but not online. The tour fee is 4500JPY per person.
There is a possibilty that floating ice may not be seen on the departure day. In this case, please refer to the following remarks:
1) If the drift ice icebreaker is cancelled due to weather, etc.
3,000 yen for adults/2,000 yen for children will be refunded, and we will stop by the Okhotsk Drift Ice Science Center "Giza" as an alternative.
2) If we are unable to reach Monbetsu due to road conditions
-- Refund of 3,000 yen for adults/2,000 yen for children, and instead, we will stop by the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival. (Admission fee to the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival included)
For dinner, we offer an optional seafood bento box from the Sea of Okhotsk (crab or crab roe bowl bento). We will inform you on the day.
Please be sure to bring your passport with you to participate in the trip. If you do not bring your passport, you will not be able to board the icebreaker.
